On the day of the fair, please visit the check-in booth - an IISE student representative will be able to answer any questions you might have. Prior to the fair - please email career fair director Kenny Halls, khalls@purdue.edu.

All students will be required to check-in at the booth by the front entrance. Unauthorized students or those that otherwise fail to check-in will be politely asked to leave.

To properly answer this question, first check and ask yourself which companies you are interested in speaking to. A good rule of thumb is 15 minutes per company, which includes time spent waiting in line and walking between various booths. Keep in mind that this varies depending on company size, demand, and time of day. Typically first thing in the morning is less crowded than afternoon.

This years' event will be outside on Krach lawn - plan accordingly with regards to dress and timing.

From there, utilize resources such as the company website and LinkedIn page to gauge if they would be a good fit for you. Aim to have a baseline understanding of the companies' products, industry, applicable positions, and core values before speaking to a recruiter.

Anticipate having approximately 10 minutes. Start with your elevator pitch, before transitioning to reviewing your resume with a recruiter and answering qualification-related questions. Approach the booth with a position and end goal in mind. Be sure to collect recruiters contact information so you can follow up later.
